Refund Policy

1. Our Commitment
UniCoders Ltd is committed to delivering high-quality technology services, training programmes, and support contracts. We handle all refund requests fairly, transparently, and in accordance with UK consumer and commercial law. This policy sets out the terms under which refunds may be issued across each of our service categories.
For any refund request, please contact us at contact@unicoders.co.uk with your invoice number, the service in question, and the reason for your request. All requests are reviewed within 5 business days.
2. Software Development and Consulting Projects
2.1 Deposits
A deposit is required before work commences on any development or consulting project. Once work has commenced, deposits are non-refundable. This covers the initial resource allocation, planning, architecture review, and project setup work carried out by our team.
If UniCoders Ltd is unable to commence work after a deposit has been received, a full refund of the deposit will be issued within 14 business days.
2.2 Milestone Payments
Project payments are structured across milestones as defined in your project proposal. Once a milestone has been completed and approved by the client, the corresponding payment is non-refundable.
If a milestone deliverable materially fails to meet the agreed specification, the client must notify UniCoders Ltd in writing within 7 days of delivery. We will work to resolve the issue at no additional cost. If we are unable to resolve the issue to the agreed specification within a reasonable timeframe, a partial or full refund of that milestone payment may be considered at our discretion.
2.3 Client-Initiated Cancellation
If a client cancels a project mid-development, the following applies:
- All completed milestones remain billable and non-refundable.
- Work in progress at the time of cancellation will be billed on a pro-rata basis proportional to completion.
- A written cancellation notice must be submitted to contact@unicoders.co.uk.
- Any outstanding balance for work completed becomes immediately payable upon cancellation.
2.4 UniCoders-Initiated Cancellation
In the unlikely event that UniCoders Ltd is unable to complete a project due to circumstances within our control, we will refund all fees paid for incomplete milestones in full within 14 business days.
3. Online Learning Platform Subscriptions
UniCoders operates an online learning platform currently under development. Subscription terms will be published upon launch.
4. Individual Training Courses
4.1 Refund Window
A full refund is available on individually purchased courses if requested within 7 days of purchase, provided that you have not accessed or started the course content.
4.2 No Refund After Access
Once course content has been accessed, no refund will be issued regardless of the remaining content. This applies equally to online and face-to-face course materials purchased in advance.
4.3 Face-to-Face Workshops
For in-person workshops and training sessions:
- Full refund if cancellation is requested at least 7 days before the scheduled date.
- 50% refund if cancellation is requested between 3 and 7 days before the scheduled date.
- No refund for cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled date.
If UniCoders Ltd cancels or reschedules a workshop, a full refund will be offered or the option to transfer to a future session.
5. Corporate Training Programmes
Corporate training engagements are governed by the terms of the specific service agreement signed between the client and UniCoders Ltd. In the absence of specific terms in that agreement, the following applies:
- Cancellation with more than 14 days notice: full refund of any prepaid amounts.
- Cancellation with 7 to 14 days notice: 50% refund of prepaid amounts.
- Cancellation with less than 7 days notice: no refund; all prepaid amounts are non-refundable.
6. Maintenance Contracts
6.1 Monthly Contracts
Monthly maintenance contracts may be cancelled at any time with 30 days written notice to contact@unicoders.co.uk. No refund is issued for the current billing month. Access to maintenance services continues for the duration of the 30-day notice period.
6.2 Annual Contracts
Annual maintenance contracts may be cancelled with 30 days written notice. Upon cancellation, a pro-rata refund will be calculated for the unused full months remaining on the contract, minus a one-month administrative fee to cover transition and handover costs. Partial months are not refundable.
6.3 Service Failures
If UniCoders Ltd fails to meet the service levels defined in your maintenance agreement, you may be entitled to a service credit or partial refund as specified in that agreement. Please contact us in writing to raise a service level dispute.
7. How to Request a Refund

Please include:
- Your full name and company name.
- The invoice number or order reference.
- The service or product the request relates to.
- The reason for your refund request.
We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and provide a decision within 5 business days of receipt of all required information.
8. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days of approval to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider. UniCoders Ltd is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment processors.
9. Disputes
If you are not satisfied with the outcome of a refund request, you may escalate the matter in writing to contact@unicoders.co.uk marked for the attention of the Director. We will review all escalated disputes within 10 business days and respond with a final decision.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in this Refund Policy affects your statutory rights under applicable UK consumer law.
